The inspiration for her album "Knockers Up" came from an ad-libbed performance at a club in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She worked in Las Vegas showrooms and wrote her comedy material, paving the way for women comedians. The owner of the Aladdin Hotel, Milton Prell, booked her for 20 years at the Baghdad Hotel showroom. Despite her music not being played on the radio, it is available on all digital music platforms today. Rusty Warren earned 7 Gold Albums and produced 15 albums in total. Her music is currently remastered under Elizabeth Rizzo Publishing.
